Firestone Fibers and Textiles

Leverage a leading innovator of the reinforcement materials industry.

About Us

For nearly a century, Firestone Fibers and Textiles has been at the forefront of innovation for reinforcement materials. Our journey began back in 1935 when our very first plant opened its doors in Gastonia, North Carolina. Since then, with the assistance of our nearby Kings Mountain plant, established in 1992, we’ve become one of the world’s driving leaders in manufacturing tire cord and unique proprietary industrial fabrics for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, Firestone Airide, and a diverse range of commercial businesses. We specialize in manufacturing mechanical rubber goods, applications that require RFL treatments, and weft insertion fabrics used for coating and laminating purposes on a variety of products.

Building a Better Tomorrow

It’s not just our exceptional products that set us apart. We hold the esteemed Environmental Steward Award from the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources and are a Zero Waste to Landfill operation, because at Firestone Fibers and Textiles we don't just believe in a better tomorrow – we build it with every thread, every fiber, and every beat of our hearts.
